Q. How do you register?
A. To register, go to www.KIDSPORTS.org or in person at KIDSPORTS (2190 Polk St.). There is a $10.00 registration fee for each participant. We ask that you register as early as possible to provide us with ample time to organize the teams. Currently, no walk-up participants will be accepted.
Q. How can I pay the $10 entry fee?
A. There are several ways to pay the registration fee. You can either pay using your debit card, credit card, cash, or check. All checks should be made out to "KIDSPORTS".
Q. Can my child form his/her own team?
A. No. This year, participants will register individually and will be placed randomly on a co-ed team of approximately 4 in their respected age groups on the day of the event.
Q. Who can be a participant at the Warsaw Hoopfest?
A. The Warsaw Hoopfest is open to current 5th-8th grade boys and girls.
Q. Do you have to pay more money to get an event T-shirt?
A. No, the T-shirt is included as part of the $10.00 registration fee.
Q. What should each participant bring to the tournament?
A. Each participant should be sure to wear appropriate clothing: athletic shoes, athletic shorts, and a T-Shirt. Players should also bring a water bottle! Lunch will be provided for all players as well as sports drinks and snacks.
Q: Do spectators have to pay for entrance?
A: No, this event is free for all spectators.
Q. What time does the event start/end?
A. Check-in for ALL participants will start at 9:00AM. Event activities will begin approximately at 9:30AM and will end approximately at 5PM.
Q. Will there be food provided?
A. Yes, there will be lunch available free of charge for all participating players. We will also have food and drinks available for purchase for spectators.
Q: Where will this event be held?
A. The Warsaw Hoopfest will be held in Matthew Knight Arena located at the University of Oregon in Eugene. This is a great opportunity for participants to play on the same basketball court as the Oregon Ducks!
Q: What is the purpose of this event?
A. This event has created for basketball players in the area to develop teamwork, sportsmanship and integrity skills. Along with "round robin" play, participants will develop their skills through challenges, contests and learn from student leaders.
Q: Where do the proceeds go?
A. Proceeds raise money for two local scholarships - The KIDSPORTS Emerald Scholarship Fund & Stephen Dember Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Q: What skill level is recommended for this event?
A. All skill levels are welcome. We will have the participants engage in warm-ups, skill challenges and round-robin" play. Volunteers will also be present at all times to assist players.

A. Registration is open until all spaces are filled. We encourage you to register soon if you have interest in the event!
