About this trip

The D.C. Bar invites Members & Guests to join our exclusive Journey to Ireland

We engage with local experts, academics, officials and change makers who offer in-depth commentary on the EU and UK legal-political systems, economics, environmental justice, history and religion.  Ireland is a country that boasts stunning natural landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and friendly locals. We stay 4 nights in the charming Dublin, explore ancient castles, visit landmarks, museums and notable legal institutions, and sample delicious local cuisine and beverages. The vibrant culture of Ireland is reflected in the music, dance and literary legacy that continues to influence global culture.

Add two nights in Belfast, the vibrant capital of Northern Ireland (UK), engaging with local ambassadors and guides offering context to the region's unique political history, Good Friday Agreement, and the ongoing reconciliation efforts and peace process.

The 4-night program makes Dublin our home base. The 6-night program includes two nights in Belfast.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to enjoy the best of Ireland while earning CLE credits! (anticipated)

Itineraries are subject to change. All meetings & activities are subject to final confirmation, cultural calendars pending.

CLE Abroad terms & conditions apply to this program.

Morocco was wonderful to explore. We ate delicious, generous meals, met lawyers working to improve conditions for the elderly and people with disabilities, experienced the desert at night and walked through narrow, winding passages of several town centers, called medinas.

The trip was unbelievable, the guides, the accommodations, the food and the itinerary. I could not ask for more. Highly recommend. No detail was missed.

The most extraordinary trip we've been on. The selection of accommodations was superb. Whether the Riad in Fes, the Hyatt Regency in Casablanca or all the others, we could not have been more pleased. The selections of dining were also superb. The coordination of touring and sights was superb. The "handling" (transportation, site visitations, lunches) were superb. The programing was exceptionally informative, but more importantly, sensitive to quality of information and presentation by "REAL AUTHORITIES." I learned so much that will impact my practice at home that I could not have imagined; that alone was worth the price. Our guides were great; Daniel made the magic happen - the epidemy of professional. I would rely on the expertise and professionalism of CLE Abroad for our future adventures.

This trip was such an incredible experience. Each day was packed with memorable experiences with guides that know The Netherlands very well. We saw the tulip blooms at Keukennof Gardens, the old windmills in Kinderdijk, were taken on boat rides through the canals of The Hague and Amsterdam, went to the International Criminal Court and the ICJ - Peace Palace, went to several art museums with Vermeer and Van Gogh pieces (as well as many others), went to the Anne Frank House, had legal lectures on drug and prostitution policies/regulation/enforcement, had a lecture on international war crimes, and we ate at great restaurants throughout the trip. I left having a thorough understanding of Holland's culture and laws. I can't wait to go back. I look forward to future trips with CLE Abroad--and I could not recommend CLE Abroad and this trip highly enough. It was hands down the best vacation I have ever had. Thank you, CLE Abroad!! I love your company--you put together an incredible and unforgettable experience I will treasure for the rest of my life.
